The Governors have a legal obligation for the school’s general management. They are responsible for ensuring that pupils receive a high standard of education through working with the Headteacher and staff to prepare strategies to ensure that pupils achieve their full potential. The purpose of the Governing body is to advise, provide information and support the Headteacher and school staff.
The Governors hold a meeting at least once a term. A Governors and Parents Annual General Meeting is held annually in November.
If a parent wishes to discuss an issue with the Governing Body, the clerk of governors should be notified in writing.
