A school curriculum is a plan for what children and young people will learn at school. It says: - What they should learn, how they should learn and the reasons why they should learn. We are already working towards developing our exciting new curriculum in Ysgol Tregarth There are many aspects to consider when designing our new curriculum, please see below for more information:

The four purposes

The purpose of a curriculum is to enable learners to develop as:

  • ambitious, capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives

  • ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world
  • healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society
